Some features are visible to the user at all times, and some require the user to turn specific options on or off to access those features. In this tutorial, you’ll be setting up the program so that you can use many of Photoshop’s most powerful features.

To set up Photoshop, make sure you have an installation disc, a computer with a recent version of Photoshop, and at least 1GB of RAM available.

In Photoshop CS5, you can adjust the look of images in two ways. You can adjust their colors or adjust the images’ brightness, contrast, and white balance to improve the overall appearance.

Adjusting Colors

In Photoshop, colors are represented by numbers and can be adjusted by changing the values of the numbers.

Basic Editing Tools

Photo Merge

Photo Merge is a tool to combine multiple images into one.

To combine several pictures into one, click the Add to merge multiple images tool.

When done, click OK.

As a side note, it is easier to work with one picture at a time, instead of dragging and dropping multiple images into the tool.

Editing Tools

Faces and People Recognition

One of the best tools to edit and improve a photo is Faces and People Recognition, which recognizes faces in pictures, and even in video. With it, you’ll be able to edit faces or any other human (or animal) in an image.

To open the tool, click Edit > Faces and People > Recognition.

You can edit the name and gender.

You can edit the hairstyle, skin color, eye color, and ear shape.

Even the skin tone can be adjusted.

Your image will also be improved using this tool. You may add more people in the image.

Finally, when you’re done, the tool will open the images in that folder so you can select the one that looks best.

Note: This tool is only available in Elements for Windows

Layer Photoshop

You can stack or combine layers in Photoshop with the Layers. For that, click the eye icon in the layers toolbar.

There you’ll find options to insert, move and delete layers.

Add more layers and move them.

Resize and position them.

SQL Query for Scanned images in Database

Hello I am writing a Web api and the api have a method for get images:

What I need is, I need to scan the disk for the images and store the images in database.
Actually I have a problem, because I have in my database the original image that I want to store in my database but not the scanned images in memory. I just need to save the original image in the database.
So here is what I tried:

So how can I save the image in my database, when I am storing only the original image?

To do this you need to store the image ID in the database and only then upload the scanned image. So each time a user uploads an image, retrieve the corresponding image ID by looking up the user ID in a database. Once you have the ID, upload only the new image. When you get the request for the image, you get the image ID from the database and download the original image and the associated data.

The Dodge and Burn tools darken or lighten specific areas of an image. The Dodge tool makes an image darker, while the Burn tool makes it lighter.
The Pen tool is the most basic tool in Photoshop. It allows you to draw freeform paths that you can transform into objects or paths.
Many of these tools can be combined to create interesting effects. For example, you can use the Eraser tool to paint out a shape and use the Brush tool to remove the paint.
And finally, Photoshop has a bevy of layer and selection tools to help you manage the various parts of your image. The Brush tool and the Rectangular Selection tool are the most common tools for this.
You can use the Brush tool to paint, erase, fill, select and more. You can click and drag to paint strokes. To paint on multiple areas, hold down the Shift key while you paint.
Selecting is also essential to most Photoshop workflows. You can use the Rectangular or Elliptical Selection tool to select portions of the image. To select a range of pixels, hold down the Option key as you press the space bar. This is called a marquee and it lets you select an area in the document.
