I have a Choice field in my ModelForm which is an choices.
I have the following problems:
The selection of a valid choice does not trigger any validation error (which is the normal behavior for me).
When I provide a value in the database for a missing choice, the Choice is somehow ignored (doesn’t store the user’s choice in the database) and the first choice is chosen by default.
For now I’m removing the Choice field from my ModelForm and storing the user’s selection in a separate ForeignKey field, but I’m wondering if there’s a better solution?
