Photoshop CS is developed by Adobe Systems and takes advantage of the latest processor technology, including the support of 64-bit operating systems. This allows for a lot of memory to work with, enabling the program to support the enormous numbers of layers and transparency necessary to edit images. So, although you may hear the term “Photoshop CS6,” the program actually includes all the features of both Photoshop and Elements 6.

In this chapter, I break down how to use Photoshop CS to cut, paste, draw, combine images, and perform advanced editing tasks. By the end of the chapter, you should be able to work through the basic editing tasks using the features in Photoshop.

## GETTING TO KNOW THE SITE

The first thing you do in Photoshop is determine what you want to do. I will assume that you have some photos that you want to use as the basis for your design or artwork. To use these photos, you need to

Add a background so that the photos are visible.

Copy the images, reducing them to a smaller size for use.

Import the image into Photoshop, which includes placing the image into the correct folder.

Alter the photo into the desired look for your design or art.

Save the photo so that it retains the final look.

Haemorrhage can be reduced by using a hyaluronidase, as opposed to a traumatic procedure, and longer-term steroid therapy.

Conclusion
==========

Adverse events were not common with the use of preoperative sub-Tenon’s injection of triamcinolone. More common complications are anaesthesia-related, including ocular irritation, choroidal detachment and increased intraocular pressure. The complication rate was highest in the third group of patients; for this group, choroidal detachment and capsular block were most likely to occur. In patients who have previously received steroid therapy, the risk of complications from this procedure may be greater than reported in this study.
