Designing the Nest
“We have redesigned the game from the ground up, keeping it true to the game mechanics we already knew we wanted to create. From the UI to the game’s feel, everything has been reworked to make the best game we can.”
Gameplay
“The game’s gameplay is very realistic, it doesn’t offer many choices as far as different classes, items or skills. You have to find the best possible choices for your particular playstyle. Each class has 3 different build paths, one for each gun modality. That’s great because you can easily decide which gun you prefer most, and then get rewarded by being the best player in the game.”
Siege and Infection
Siege
“With the game overhauled, we are introducing a unique new mode, called Siege. It’s a game mode where you will fight on fixed maps. In siege, you can choose to play solo or in 2v2 format (Deathmatch) and fight for control of the nest.”
Infection
“Infection is our biggest addition. It’s a game mode where you will fight as teams against a swarm of enemies that will attack you constantly. In this mode, you will play as any class in the game, and you will play with a team of five players instead of one.”
Mapping, Universe and Characters
“We started from scratch designing a new mapping system, one that’s totally different from the old one. It still keeps a lot of the old maps for the sake of nostalgia, but the maps themselves are all new. The maps themselves are procedurally generated based on the player’s choice for the new sprawl.”

Mobile Suit Gundam: CrossFire 2 has been released on August 19 for iOS and Android devices.
Story:
The F91 Gundam has been a highly advanced mobile suit in the mobile suit wars of Char’s generation. After the war, the Gundams were effectively confiscated and the Federation made a decision to suppress them all. However, before the Federation could wipe out all remaining mobile suits, four Gundams survived the war: F91-1’s Creator, F91-2, F91-3, and F91-5. As a result, the Unified Earth Sphere Forces was forced to cede victory to the Reptile Alliance. The surviving Mobile Suits were dispersed. In the years that followed, the Gundams recovered as they restored their function and worked to find a way to maintain their existence on earth. While this process of recovering and restoring was in process, the Federation was suffering severe troubles due to recent unwise military decisions. With the increasing awareness of the Federation’s troubles, new wars in space began to break out. One of these wars, the Burning Reunion War, saw the Federation fight the Zabi clan, which was by this time intent on complete restoration of the Oga Clan’s territory. At the same time, the tensions within the Federation’s ruling cliques were on the rise, and there was the rising discontent of a large number of young men and women who wished to pursue a life of freedom.
The story of CrossFire II begins one day before the start of the Burning Reunion War. It’s a day before the start of the war. There’s a strange meteorite falling from the sky, and a young man named Renji Yagami discovers an object on the ground. Suddenly, Yagami, who holds the key to the future of the Gundam world, is shot by anti-aircraft weapons. He lands on the ground and dies. Yagami’s colleague, the assassin Kizaru, removes the object from the young man’s body and studies it.
Gameplay:
There are two main gameplay features in CrossFire 2. First is that the game is divided into two parts, the main story mode and the multiplayer mode. The main story mode is a single-player game where the player takes control of the protagonist Kizaru. Whenever Lara Altmos talks about her relationship to water, she begins to tease her listeners, gesturing like a performer at a samba show.
“I am a little bit of a country girl, so I grew up in a mountainous area,” the Laguna Beach resident says.
She grew up not much more than 60 miles away from Manila Bay, but there’s no telling how much water she’d prefer to have around her than to see the blue and shimmering heat of it off the coast of the Philippines.
Still, her husband prefers to spend the summer months dodging the humidity of the South Pacific, and she has learned to keep her thirst for the ocean bottled up and liquid during the school year.
“Maybe it’s because I’m American,” Lara Altmos says, the smile curling slowly across her face. “I grew up never going to the beach.”
She is sitting in the long, open dining hall of SONGS, the water sports and education center housed on the school’s campus on the sacred island of Boracay in the Philippines.
Lara has flown all the way from Orange County to satisfy her dream of visiting the beach. It was a vacation passed down from her mother, Camille, who has always had a love of the high seas.
Lara’s mother packed up their house and their lives and headed to the Philippines, but Lara was born only a few years after her parents arrived in the country. Although Camille would return to the Philippines with her family often over the years to visit her family, it was just not the same, and she eventually settled back in Southern California.
So Lara has been biding her time, tagging along on her grandmother’s travels to the Philippines each summer. And she is well acquainted with the water sports of her grandmother.
After four years in the United States, Lara decided to enroll in SONGS, a school dedicated to educating children of Filipino immigrants who like to spend their summer vacation time in the Philippines.
The culmination of a hard-fought journey, the Laguna Beach resident hopes to tap into her own resources to help improve the conditions of Boracay, where 72 percent of the island’s population of 300,000 live.
In time, Lara hopes to marry her love of water in the developing world with her love of the U.S.
